Building a Best PC in a budget segment is actually a daunting task. That’s doubly true if you are based in small countries and countries like India where taxes and custom charges makes it impossible to build a gaming rig without breaking your bank. This post would show you which parts to build a gaming PC capable enough to run all modern titles at 1080p 60FPS in the price range under Rs. 35,000.
Best Budget Motherboard: Asus Prime H310M
Price: Rs 4,550
The Asus Prime H310M board incorporates a premium build quality for less than 5K and supports the 8th and 9th Gen Intel CPU’s. But the point noting here is that you are limited to 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM on two DIMMs though according to me it would be sufficient as Coffee Lake Chips aren’t that sensitive to memory, unlike their Ryzen Counterparts. It also comes with one x16PCle 3.0 slot for a discrete graphics and has decent I/O Options with two USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, each. You’re not getting any RGB Here and frankly saying it’s not surprising at this price point.
BEST Budget CPU for 1080p Gaming :Intel Core i3-9100F
Price: Rs. 6,629
The 9th Gen Intel Core i3-9100F is a quad-core chip that boosts to as much as 4.20 GHz. The reason we here opted for an Intel Chip is :In Comparison to the 1st and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen parts. The 9th Gen lineup performs notably better in gaming thanks to their superior IPC and higher clocks. The 3rd Gen Matisse products are comparable but they cost more than 15K for the lower-end Ryzen 5 3600. Which isn’t suited for this budget build.
BEST Gaming Graphics Card for 1080p Gaming: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB
The GeForce GTX 1660 is by far the best choice if you prefer buttery smooth 60FPS at 1080p with no compromises in visual quality. Powered by the Turing architecture, this GPU makes AMD’s RX 580 obsolete by offering much better performance while costing notably less. It also draws much less power and runs relatively cooler. It renders most eSports titles at 100+ FPS at 1080p.

BEST Budget DDR4 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 4GBx2
Price: Rs. 3,998
The Intel chips, unlike their Ryzen counterparts, aren’t that sensitive to memory. So a dual-channel 2400MHzRAM from G.Skill should be sufficient. If you ever feel adventurous, you can overclock it up to 3000MHz and even higher (fingers crossed) for some extra frames.
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE 450
Price: Rs. 2,450
The Cooler Master MWE 450 should be sufficient for this build. The CPU is capped at 65W and the GTX 1660. It won’t exceed the 450W envelope even if overclocked, so don’t worry about being limited by the SMPS.
Case: Antec NX200 RGB
Price: Rs. 2,400
So, that’s about it. The total cost comes down to approximately 35K and you get a clean build with decent components that should be able to run most games at 1080p for the next couple of years. If you throw in a monitor, HDD and the peripherals, the total cost should come around 40-45K which again is a very reasonable price for a budget gaming PC.
